Have a sewing project you've been meaning to finish?  Need access to a machine? Drop in and use our sewing stations. Bring your own materials - we'll provide the machines and a welcoming space. 

Celebrate the Spring Season with us! There will be a special guest presentation from the Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation Commission with Sam E. Soil, an Easter Egg Hunt, Face Painting, Bouncy Houses, and Refreshments!

Complete our collaborative trivia questionnaire about important women in history and receive a sweet treat for participation.

 The Plastic Canvas craft is a continuation of our different designs that has been taught across the year.  The Leprechaun hat represents St. Paddy's.

Join us at the Beverly J. Brown Library in Byram for Friday Fun Day for fun activities. We meet every Friday from 2-4pm. Every Friday is a fun day at the Byram Library!
 

A librarian leads the participant in a one on one instruction session in computer/internet use.

The M.W. Alexander Library is excited to announce a partnership with Chantal Taylor to offer a new class: Line Dancing! Line dancing is a fun and effective form of exercise.

Walking dependent on weather and temperature. We do not walk in rainy weather or if it is too warm out. If temperatures are above 80* please call the library to verify if we are walking. 

Would you like to wear something fashion forward, chic and unique that you created by hand?..How about an afghan, a fedora, a simple hat and gloves or create simple crafts? Then this is the creative opportunity for you!

Enjoy a fun Storytime and complete a fun craft to take home!

Get creative and join our newest club to make beautiful suncatchers and design stained-glass sheets to hang in your windows. Light refreshments will be served!

Join us for an afternoon of sewing...no matter what your skill level, you can learn an important life skill that will allow you to create your own style or simply use fabric as functional art. We meet every Saturday at 1pm.
