About Evelyn Taylor Majure Library
Welcome to the Evelyn T. Majure Library in Utica, MS. The Utica Library was renamed the Evelyn T. Majure Library on February 25, 1993. Evelyn Taylor Majure (1914-1994) was a native of Hinds County and was a former educator from Utica, MS. Our library has become a community hub for information and meeting. We offer Homework Help to school children and S.T.R.E.A.M activities every Saturday. Our adults enjoy such programs as Book Club and our Walk & Talk Saturdays. The community uses the library to check out books and DVDs and for printing and fax services. We offer friendly service that works well to ensure that each patron feels comfortable in our Hometown Library.
