About Medgar Evers Library
The Medgar Evers Library, which was named for the Civil Rights activist Medgar Evers, is located in northwest Jackson. A historic statue of Evers is located on the library grounds. Story Time Wednesdays and Fantastic Friday Story Times are at 10:00 AM, as well as teen programs. The library has a family-friendly movie screening with popcorn on Saturdays at 11:00 AM.
