The Beverly J. Brown Library, in Byram MS, is a wonderful place for young people to foster curiosity, their imaginations, and a love for reading that will serve them throughout their lives. The Byram Library offers a social place for our adult patrons to share their love of reading together through our Book Club and community engagement. We are eager to serve the literary needs of all our patrons and provide technological resources for public use.

• At the Byram Library, we have a very “Mr. Rogers” approach to children’s programming, focusing more on hands on exploration and the arts with less reliance on heavy technology and loud noises. We provide monthly, quality construction paper craft packs for children to wind down and be creative. These often align with the time of year.
• We offer hands-on programming, through ever-flowing STREAM activities. As we explore the different areas of the STREAM acronym: science, technology, reading, arts, and mathematics, children will experience well rounded programming. 
• While children are the future, our adult programming is thriving. The Byram Book Club has doubled in size since its beginning. This community of readers is a vital part of our library, often providing valuable input on the community's needs. They also share their favorite writers, which is a great resource for our collection development. Certain members are also members of our Friends of the Library organization.
