About Willie Morris Library
The Willie Morris Library is a friendly community library located in North Jackson, Mississippi. Open Monday through Saturday, we serve hundreds of local patrons daily as well as guests from nearby counties. Willie Morris is named after William Weaks Morris, a Mississippi born writer and editor known for My Dog Skip. You can find some of his handwritten notes and personal items on display throughout the library! Willie Morris has many wonderful aspects and unique features like our Wells Collection for book lovers or Mississippi Law Books for those who want to brush up on the state's laws. We offer weekly and monthly programs for patrons of all ages, such as Bingo, Storytime, Arts and Crafts, Crotchet Class, and Art Class. Occasionally, we celebrate national holidays and host free book raffles. Whether you need help with computer services, finding a book, or if you need a quiet place to work or study, Willie Morris provides the perfect venture for your library visit!
