Twice weekly Spanish classes for beginners of all ages. 

Have a sewing project you've been meaning to finish?  Need access to a machine? Drop in and use our sewing stations. Bring your own materials - we'll provide the machines and a welcoming space. 

Join us for family movie night! refreshments are provided.

Movie Night for Women’s History Month at Medgar Evers Library! Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM. In celebration of Women's History Month, join us for a film appreciation night featuring Hidden Figures. Refreshments will be served!

Friends of the Library Book Sale. First weekend of each month except January and July.

Join us at the Beverly J. Brown Library in Byram for Friday Fun Day for fun activities. We meet every Friday from 2-4pm. Every Friday is a fun day at the Byram Library!

Walking dependent on weather and temperature. We do not walk in rainy weather or if it is too warm out. If temperatures are above 80* please call the library to verify if we are walking.

The Hamer Gratitude Wall is a vibrant space where all ages can share appreciation, celebrate kindness, and strengthen community connections.

Drop-in anytime for Make it Monday! Enjoy hands-on arts and crafts for all ages, available all day. 

Make it Monday on the 2nd Monday of the month.

Join us for our 3rd annual Spring Forward Open House!  We will have games, craft projects, refreshments (while they last), and a raffle (all you need to do is show us your library card). There will also be a special Dr. Seuss Storytime.
