Legacy: In Honor of Women

Join us for another dynamic Women's History Month presentation featuring, Dr. Safiya Omari. She has also played a significant role in public leadership in the City of Jackson. She served as Campaign Coordinator and Chief of Staff for the late Mayor Chokwe Lumumba and later served as Chief of Staff for Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba during both of his terms as Mayor of the City of Jackson.

In addition to her academic and public service leadership, Dr. Omari serves on several nonprofit boards, including as Chair of the Board of Directors for One Voice, and a member of the Advisory Board for the Mary S. Nelums Foundation.The presentation starts at 5pm. See you there!
